About Our Cakes

Our cakes are all freshly homemade to order using the very best ingredients, including free range eggs, we do not use cake mixes or order cakes in.

Vanilla sponge cake

Vanilla Sponge

Our vanilla sponge is filled with homemade buttercream using unsalted butter and icing sugar whipped to make a light creamy filling along with a layer of good quality raspberry jam. The cakes are then covered with a thin layer of buttercream before icing with sugarpaste. (Other flavours available)

Chocolate cake

Chocolate Cake

Our rich moist chocolate cake is filled with homemade chocolate buttercream made with good quality chocolate. The cake is covered with a thin layer of buttercream before being iced with sugar or chocolate paste.

Fruit cake

Rich Fruit Cake

Our fruit cake is made from a tried and tested family recipe which is matured with Brandy producing a rich moist cake. Fruit cakes are covered with marzipan before icing with sugarpaste. At least 3 months notice is required for fruit cakes as they are all made to order.
